Come Along with Me?

As you may have read in the About Coach Debbi page, I've been coaching and helping others in the area of weight loss for the last 13 years.

In those 13 years, I've understood the importance (and necessity) of breaking the mental bondages that try to keep us bound. It takes that mental breakthrough in order to commit to doing what it takes to see a lifestyle change.

Although I've had a clear understanding of those aspects and been successful at coaching others in this area, it's only been the last six years that I've had more of an understanding and desire to research, learn and digest all the important facts of how nutrition plays an important part in creating that new lifestyle.

I've spent hours and hours in research and living out the findings of that research. I've completely changed my own eating lifestyle and have not only seen the difference in my physical body, but have felt the differences in my body, mental capacities, emotions - the whole being! I am younger today and have more energy and stamina than I have since in my early 20's. It's a known "fact" by my close friends and family that I'm really 24 years old, instead of the age my birth certificate claims that I am. I feel as young as 24 – six years ago I could not say that.

After making these nutritional changes in my body, not only did it result in a total of 115 pounds lost, but at the age of 51, I became a certified fitness instructor. In my classes I can physically outlast even the most athletic and youngest participants.

Why am I telling you all of this?

Because finally, at the age of 55 I've decided to make it official and get certified with AFPA as a Holistic Health Coach which will include certifications for both Health & Wellness Coach and Holistic Nutritionist.

I'm beginning my studies tomorrow, April 1, 2019 and as I embark on this journey that will enable me to reach more people, help more people and serve more people, I plan to share with those of you who are interested in coming along. I'm the real deal: a real person, approachable person, someone who tells it like it is and someone who makes grammar and typo mistakes. I will share the good, the bad and the ugly, but in the end my hope is that you will feel you know me just a little more on a deeper level and feel invested in my life which in turn will assist me in being invested in yours. Does that make sense? If so, continue...
