Mom's Green Bean Casserole


Mom always brought the Green Bean Casserole. I found her handwritten recipe along with several others online, which all had something just a little different. I decided to make mom's the base and add my own twist. It turned out wonderful!

INGREDIENTS (the amounts in this recipe are doubled. I used all organic ingredients)

  • 4 cans french style green beans, drained

  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup

  • 2 tsp of coconut aminos (or soy sauce)

  • ½ cup of almond milk

  • Seasonings: Himalayan salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion flakes, turmeric, paprika, no salt seasoning to taste

  • 1 6oz can of fried onions


  • Combine all of the ingredients (except half the can of friend onions) into a 3qt casserole dish and stir well.

  • Bake at 350º for 30 minutes, add remaining onions as a topper and bake another 5 minutes
